    Admin response

This feature depends on the release of Clear Pending Transactions. Reconcile is currently planned for release in November.

Still don't have reconcile and it has been over 2 weeks since you said the rest of us would get it in about a week. Just a simple update when estimates pass would go such a long way. It is very frustrating!

Any update on reconcile for the rest of us?

So what is the new update of an estimate when those of us that didn't have reconcile on the 2nd will get it? It has been over a week and I still don't have reconcile.

Still no reconcile available for me yet....hopefully next week I guess. I'm really hoping promises that the check number field will be back as well as that transactions cleared/reconciled in Mv4 will show up as cleared/reconciled in Mv5 when the reconcile features is installed.

I just wanted to mention that this, and a few other, major reasons is why I left Mvelopes yesterday. I use to use Mvelopes back in it's early, original days. For what it was, it was a great tool. After a while, though, we had issues because we had to much data in the system and we needed to get away from Flash Player. I went with a competitor but always planned to come back once a solid HTML5 site was available. I'll spare the details, but we were finally able to switch back a couple of months ago. Not having reconciliation was a HUGE problem but we could manage. I then noticed that matching transactions wasn't working right (not sure if it was me or a bug) so we had a lot of double-posted transactions to our budget. After cleaning that up, our budget balance and our bank balance were still not in alignment.

It was the last straw and we migrated back to Mvelopes competitor. I'm not trying to come off angry or even vindictive. I like the idea and presentation of Mvelopes better than the competition and their are quirks to the competitor software I do not like. Regardless, it is a stable app that does offer the expected, minimally required features like check book reconciliation. We've went back to that tool and I don't see us coming back to Mvelopes.

I wish this weren't the case, but after years of redevelopment, this tool still isn't ready for prime time and I'm done waiting. I'll stick with something else. Good luck, Mvelopes team. I have not spite against you, but I simply found your application practically unusable.

Reconcile is now live for about 50% of accounts! If you don't have this feature as an option in your Accounts action menus yet, it should be live for you in about a week. If you experience any issues with Reconciling accounts, please contact Support.

It's obvious you guys are hurting as a c ompany as you're not communicating with your users. Why would I want to invest more time and money in an app when developers treat their customers like this?

Just wanted Mvelopes to know there are others besides Ms. H who are interested in this. We are heading to June...

It has been 3 months since the last update and we still don't have reconcile. Any information or update on this would be appreciated by all I'm sure

Any update on this? I'm sure everyone would really appreciate knowing where we are at in the process as we continue to wait

Is there any update on this yet? The 2/23 update was great, but the timeline given for rolling out to everyone was 2 weeks ago and as far as I know this feature still isn't available and no updated timeline or progress report has been provided. I'm sure I'm speaking for a lot of people when I say prompt communication goes a long way

Well man, I sure hope this last update is the one that pans out to have an accurate estimate of reconcile being available because the binder clip holding all of the statements that I need to reconcile has hit its limit. 8 months and 62 statements is all she'll hold. Fingers crossed that this is the last month I have to use the horribly tedious and essentially useless and inadequate process of exporting to excel to get some idea of if my accounts might be balanced. Having to start a second binder clip of statements would just be too much...

This note from February 23 by Wes is super helpful information, but I had no idea it was here until over a week later when I logged in to start checking over all of the ideas to see if anything had changed. It would be SUPER helpful if we could be emailed (at least when someone from Mvelopes) comments or posts and update on an idea we submitted or voted on so we could actually see that something is being done. I'd be super happy to get spammed with updates because communication has been so lacking. If that is an issue for some (although I think most would be a happy for the info) maybe at least an option or us to subscribe to emails for comment updates.

    Update from Wes (2/23/21):

Reconcile is live in Beta, and has been for about a month. We've identified some issues through the testing of our 50-60 beta testers and are releasing fixes for those issues on Monday. Then, we'll deploy Reconcile to 1% of our users for 1 week. If all looks good, we'll begin to deploy the feature to the rest of accounts over about a 2 week period after that.

Does anyone have an understanding as to why MV is taking so long to accomplish fundamental functions for MV5 such as Reconciliation & Clear Pending? We had so many features in MV4 that were not provided with MV5. Originally, the comments were they were spending all their efforts in maintaining MV4 & MV5 and they needed everyone off of the MV4 platform. Well that happened long ago...so now what are the reasons?

Please when is reconcile coming back? It is long past November as stated in September.

When is this going to be available? Clearing Pending Transactions and Reconciling Accounts is a basic function. I have absolutely zero confidence that any of my balances are correct.

Please, it is already February 2021!

Maybe you should consider hiring more programmers so that all of these projects can be completed before you lose your base clients. We are running out patience.

I too am upset with the features that were lost in the change. Driving me crazy. I like to reconcile my accounts, because as we all know, the computer does miss downloaded items from time to time. Some of them are coming in as a debit when they are a credit. Have to delete and redo. Frustrating. Now they are saying Feb. Maybe.

you have tp update your customers on this. Not providing an honest response is a really bad practice. you are now 60+ days late from your last estimated delivery, with no word from you on why, or when it will actually be delivered. This is silly and a poor way to operate.

Any update on this. This should absolutely be a top priority and should have been implemented months ago.
